Our founder, Ayur, a passionate gold enthusiast, loved collecting fine gold jewelry inspired by her travels around the world. However, she struggled to find pieces that represented her roots—traditional Chinese gold jewelry often lacked modern aesthetics.
Revitalizing gold into timeless designs
In China, for centuries, gold jewelry have been essential symbols of marriage and wealth, where size and weight were the primary focus.
There was little attention to design, aesthetic value, or the emotional connection between the wearer and the jewelry.
Gold didn’t have to be bulky, outdated, or exclusive to the nouveau riche.
We felt a calling to revitalize gold, making it simple, sleek, modern, and appealing to urban tastes.
